It has been proved to be the most momentously strategical decision-making of Chinese government in the late 20th Century to foot on the development and opening-up of Pudong Area of Shanghai to further open the cities along the Changjiang River (Yangtse), build up Shanghai to be one of the worlds centers of international economy, finance and trade as soon as possible, and lead the new economy to leap forward of the Changjiang River Delta and the whole river basin.
