Founded in October 1986 by patent attorney Qiang Li, Beijing Sanyou Intellectual Property Agency Ltd. is the first private patent law firm in China. With the high quality of its services, Sanyou has been awarded several times with the title of "Outstanding Patent Agency" by the China National Intellectual Administration (CNIPA, previously SIPO) as well as "Outstanding Trademark Agency" by China Trademark Association. Beijing Sanyou has more than 400 employees, including 160 patent attorneys, 30 trademark attorneys and 20 attorneys-at-law.
