As an Olean, New York native, Ms. Proto is proud to be of service to the community where she calls home. Growing up, Ms. Proto attended Olean City Schools where she was active in student government and a member of the Olean Varsity Girls Tennis team. After graduating from Olean High School in the top of her class, Ms. Proto attended St. Bonaventure University in New York State where she was invited into the prestigious Honors Program. During college, Ms. Proto was active in Student Ministries and Model United Nations, and served as an Orientation Leader to incoming freshmen during her junior year. While at St. Bonaventure, Ms. Proto was a member of the Division I Women's Cross Country team. In 2006, Ms. Proto graduated cum laude from St. Bonaventure, earning an honors diploma with a B.A. in Political Science.
