Access Law of Massachusetts was initially established in 2008 to close real estate loans for third parties. Soon after, Attorney Berman saw the need and opportunity to provide a full range of real estate and estate planning services to a vastly underserved middle class of potential clients. To succeed he saw the need to make the practice affordable and accessible by conducting business at the client's choice of location (usually his home) and by using technology (e.g. Skype) to stay in close personal contact with clients and to aid them when they are asked to prepare schedules and documentation. Another distinguishing aspect of his vision was to connect the firm's attorneys electronically rather than in a single office and have them love and practice in communities geographically scattered throughout Massachusetts.
