Tsets is the oldest private law firm in Mongolia founded in August 1993 as 'Legal Service Tsets LLC', under the relevant law then in force. At the time of our founding there were no law firms able to provide legal assistance in a market environment. Our practice initially concentrated primarily on standard transactions in selected areas of law. Since then, the range and complexity of the legal advice sought have changed significantly. Today clients do not seek straightforward answers to the questions on how the given law operates but expect constructive and strategic advice in the situations where the current law is unclear or less developed. To meet and excel the clients' expectations we strive to maintain the achieved level of expertise so that our advice is reliable, prompt and uncontested. We provide services in the areas of corporate, commercial, mining and tax law matters, with focus on cross-border transactions. Our work ranges from simple company formation to complex legal opinions, corporate restructuring and acquisitions. Our client base consists predominantly from major Mongolian companies and foreign-invested companies operating in Mongolia as well as multinationals and international financial institutions.
