Silk Family Law was founded in 2010 by solicitors Margaret Simpson and Kim Fellowes, together with barrister Ian Kennerley. We are the only family law firm in the North to have our own in-house counsel.

We have particular expertise in dealing with complex financial issues, including business assets, farming businesses, trusts and pensions, as well as cases with an international dimension.
