About

2/7
Personal Injury Is Our Only Business

The Firm is dedicated to the core principle that the right to civil trial by jury under the 7th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is as vital as any other civil right.

Dan Roby and G. Stanley "Stan" Hood each started practicing law in 1966 in Fort Wayne. Long before most lawyers ever thought to focus on one type of law, they were among the first to begin restricting their work to injury cases. In 1983, these long time friends became law partners, forming "Roby & Hood Law Firm," believed to be the first firm in the Fort Wayne region to make personal injury its "only business."
Tom Manges Personal Injury Lawyer

Throughout the life of the Firm, Dan, Stan, and their associate attorneys, were actively involved in the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), the group at the forefront of the battle to protect the rights of injured people. Speaking, writing scholarly articles, and even lobbying the Indiana Statehouse have been just as central to the Firm's identity as representing clients in court.

?

After clerking for the Firm in 1991, Tom Manges joined Dan and Stan after graduation from law school, and has worked nowhere else as a lawyer since. He became a partner in 1997. The Firm's name changed to "Roby & Manges Law Firm" in 2005, but the commitment to helping people injured due to the fault of others has not changed. Manges Law Firm is committed to educating other lawyers, judges, and members of the general public, about personal injury law. The Firm believes that the right to civil trial by jury under the 7th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is as vital as any other civil right. The Firm is dedicated to this core principle, which is why "Personal Injury Is Our Only Business".
