The Marcus Family Law Center was founded in 1974 in Imperial County, California as a general practice by David E. Marcus (1942-1993). As the years passed, the law office became the go-to firm for Family Law in Imperial County, serving more clients than all other Imperial County law offices combined.
In 1991, David Marcus was joined by his son, Ethan J. Marcus, who took over management in 1993. The firm grew to employ several attorneys and dozens of support personnel, and in 2004, the Marcus Family Law Center formally opened it's second location in Scripps Ranch (San Diego). In 2008, the firm expanded to Riverside county and opened the Hemet office. From its humble beginnings as a mom-and-pop divorce office, the Marcus Family Law Center has grown to become a full-service Family Law firm, offering expert representation in bankruptcy, estate planning and immigration in addition to the peerless divorce, custody and support representation that has characterized the firm for four decades.
