James C. Gallo is an experienced criminal defense attorney representing clients in the federal, state and municipal courts in Las Vegas and throughout Clark County, Nevada. A life-long resident of the Las Vegas Nevada, James C. Gallo graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas in 1987. Four years later he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in International Relations from the University of San Diego. In 1995, Gallo earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego. He began his legal career practicing primarily in the areas of insurance defense and civil litigation before moving into criminal defense. Early in his career, he developed a broad range of experience in these areas and conducted numerous arbitrations, mediations, bench trials and jury trials. He also developed a great deal of transactional experience by engaging in numerous high level contractual negotiations during his representation of professional athletes. In that regard, James C. Gallo represented former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz; former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell; and former UFC heavy weight champion Ricco Rodriguez. He continues to provide consulting services to numerous sports agents involved in contractual negotiations. During the course of his legal career, he also has developed a broad range of appellate experience. As a Las Vegas criminal defense lawyer, Gallo has argued before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Federal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on numerous occasions. In April of 2004, Gallo opened the Law Offices of James Gallo Jr, Esq., now known as Gallo Law Office. The firm is focused on law cases for the criminally accused.
