About Gust Rosenfeld P.L.C

Gust Rosenfeld is a full-service law firm that has been serving the legal needs of its clients in Arizona since 1909. Our attorneys have built a strong reputation for providing comprehensive legal advice and practical solutions to clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies and other public entities to privately held firms and individuals. Our team draws upon years of experience in a variety of areas and is committed to understanding our clients' business goals and challenges in order to provide them with efficient and effective service. At Gust Rosenfeld, we stay informed on ever-changing laws and regulations to ensure that our clients are one step ahead in today's fast-paced environment. The firm was originally founded by the merger of two prominent Phoenix firms, Kibbey, Bennett, Gust and Smith in 1909. Walter Bennett and John L. Gust were both experts in water and banking law and served as legal architect of the Salt River Valley Irrigation Project and Chairman of the Territorial and State Board of Bar Examiners, respectively. In 1924, Fred W. Rosenfeld joined the firm and led the development of its highly regarded municipal bond practice area, a reputation that continues today. His son, Fred H. Rosenfeld, joined the firm in 1964 and co-founded the American College of Bond Counsel. Devens Gust, son of Fred W., represented bankers, ranchers and individuals for 40 years, and the third generation of the Gust family, Morgan Gust, practiced banking and commercial law at Gust Rosenfeld until 1988. In 1992, the firm shortened its name to Gust Rosenfeld and today it continues to thrive, remaining committed to providing high quality, personal service to all of its clients. With more than 60 attorneys, the firm offers counsel in virtually all areas of law, from alternative dispute resolution to trusts and estates.
