The Estate Planning & Probate Division concentrates on providing individuals and families with counseling and solutions to ensure that (a) they control their property while they are alive and well; (b) that their assets take care of them and their loved ones if they become disabled; (c) that upon death, there is a proper transfer of their assets of what they have, to whom they want, when they want, and the way they want; (d) all in a proper, organized fashion to ensure the least amount of expense, estate taxes and potential conflicts. This includes not only the design and drafting of estate planning documents; but also the probate of wills and estates and the administration of trusts. The Elder Law & Medicaid Division gives qualified legal advice to families facing an increasingly common dilemma: that of protecting their assets from the costs associated with providing long-term care for a loved one. Our mission and goal is to deliver as positive an outcome as is allowable by law through a proven Medicaid qualification process, and to help our clients protect their assets through qualified Medicaid trusts.
