Since 1985, my law practice has been devoted almost exclusively to civil appeals and writ proceedings. I formerly was a partner in charge of the appellate department at a large San Jose law firm. Since 1994, I have managed a successful solo appellate practice. Although I can handle an appeal in any California state or federal appellate court, my practice has focused upon appeals in the state Sixth District Court of Appeal in San Jose. I provide the highest quality legal services at a very reasonable cost. I strive to obtain the best possible result for my client - a favorable decision in an appeal, a settlement, or advice not to pursue an appeal - on the most cost-efficient basis.
