As Trademark Counsel of Gulf + Western, which at the time owned Paramount Pictures, Madison Square Garden, Simon & Schuster, Kayser Roth, Simmons, A.P.S. and a number of other companies, Chuck helped exploit the hidden values in movies and television shows such as STAR TREK, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, HAPPY DAYS and LAVERNE and SHIRLEY, in pageants such as the MISS UNIVERSE pageant, in sports franchises such as the KNICKS, the RANGERS, the ARLINGTON PARK RACE TRACK and the ROOSEVELT RACEWAY, in book imprints, in clothing and furniture lines, and in the BIG A automotive brand.
