We think the business of the law has become detached from commercial life. We think many lawyers are risk-averse, uncomfortable with numbers and unable to offer informed, commercial judgment. We think that represents poor value for money. By contrast, we provide legal advice which is as uncompromising in its commerciality as in its technical excellence.

Our client base spans a variety of sectors including fashion, food, wine producing, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and leisure. Our technology sector clients include leading SaaS, e-commerce and online retailing/content companies such as NASDAQ-listed Interactive Intelligence, Nikon, Softel, Borderlinx, Gigaclear, Ricoh and technology sector-focused investment funds such as Highland Capital, Panoramic, Elderstreet, NVM Private Equity and Frog Capital.

Around 50% of our work is for international clients, particularly those in the Middle East, US, Japan and France, and indeed the majority of our work involves an international dimension. Our lawyers have worked across Europe, the Middle East, US, Japan, China, Hong Kong and India and are fluent in various languages including German and French.

We have offices in London and Oxford and John Crabtree OBE (Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for the West Midlands, former senior partner of Wragge & Co and Legal Business 'Lawyer of the Year') is the firm's Chairman.
