Our law firm was formed in 1989 by Mark A. Sjoberg and Paul J. Votta Jr. Since day one, we have been dedicated to using our knowledge to help people in Warwick and throughout Rhode Island.
Managing partner Mark A. Sjoberg has earned a reputation in the field of estate law that few others can match. Since he began practicing law in 1980, he has earned numerous accolades. Among them, Rhode Island Monthly Magazine has listed him among the top lawyers in his field and he is AV-rated* under Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system. In addition to practicing law, he teaches wills, trusts and estate matters at Roger Williams University School of Law.
Partner Paul J. Votta Jr. has been practicing since 1983. His focus is on family law and divorce, as well as business and tax law. His list of published works on various legal topics is extensive, and he has been AV-rated* under Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system.
