Yost, Schafersman, Lamme, Hillis, Mitchell, Schulz, and Hartmann P.C. was first organized when Fred Richards, Charles Yost and B.T. Schafersman organized the firm of Richards, Yost and Schafersman in 1947. Larry Yost joined his father, at the law firm in 1958. This began a transition of the firm that would distinguish it as one of the best in the region, known for its depth of expertise in litigation, aggressiveness in the courtroom as well as breadth of abilities in the areas of business legal matters, estate planning and family law. Nick Lamme joined the firm in 1969, Bob Hillis in 1975, Dave Mitchell in 1985, and Tim Schulz in 1996. Larry Yost retired from the firm in 2000 and serves "of counsel"
