Joseph Benedict and Steven Altman founded Benedict and Altman in 1978. They had both recently entered private practice after leaving the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, where they had been officemates as Assistant Prosecutors. Since then, they have striven to establish a top boutique criminal defense practice in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
