John C. Wegner, Sr., a lifelong resident of Paterson, began his legal career as a Workers' Compensation Deputy Director for the State Department of Labor and Industry upon passing the Bar Exam. Appointed by John J. Toohey, Labor Commissioner, Mr. Wegner was instrumental in deciding many of the cases which have been established as legal precedents in New Jersey Compensation Law.
