Robb & Ross was formed in 1986 by Joseph W. Robb and Sterling L. "Terry" Ross and now operates by Joseph W. Robb, A Professional Corporation. The firm focuses on estate planning, trust and estate administration, as well as business planning, formation and tax strategies. We maintain the basic philosophy that strong client relationships are the key to successful representation. We strive to create "peace of mind" for each of our clients in the handling of their legal matters.
Robb & Ross maintains a well-established estate planning and probate practice, including trust and probate administration, tax savings techniques, planned charitable giving and accomplishing clients' goals. Our estate planning services include the use of Special Needs Trusts for families with a disabled child or other family member. This is an area of practice pioneered by Mr. Ross who is a nationally-recognized expert in this field.
In maintaining a business law practice, we serve as general counsel for numerous business entities, particularly small, closely-held entities and family businesses. We often coordinate business planning with estate planning to the benefit of our clients. Our business practice involves such diverse areas as corporate and partnership law, limited liability companies, commercial law, real estate, finance and tax planning. A sampling of the businesses served by the firm includes a supermarket chain, construction companies, farming and ranch enterprises, real estate investment and management companies and a gaming establishment. In addition, the firm has organized and represents a number of non-profit entities, including Private Foundations.
