Our History
The law firm of Savage, Royall & Sheheen, LLP, was founded in 1926 when Henry Savage, Jr. returned to Camden after graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law.
Members of the firm have been leaders in many areas of the community and in public service beginning with Henry Savage, Jr., who served as Camden Mayor from 1948 to 1958. Bob Sheheen served in the state House of Representative for twenty-four years, including eight years as Speaker of the House. Former members of the firm have gone on to serve as South Carolina Circuit and Family Court judges.
