He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and licensed to practice law in Florida, Washington D.C., the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida.
Mr. Merlo graduated from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center and completed his undergraduate work at the University of Florida. He is an animal lover and an avid supporter of the United States Military. He enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and extended family. In his free time, he participates in sporting events and peruses the Navy Seal Museum in Fort Pierce.
