Burchell MacDougall LLP was founded in Truro, Nova Scotia in 1944 by Wilfred Burchell and R. Lorne MacDougall. In 1984 the firm opened an office in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and since that time the firm has opened two more offices, in Wolfville and Elmsdale. Burchell MacDougall LLP is one of the oldest and most established law firms in Nova Scotia. Over the years, our firm's size and scope of activity has continually expanded. We now have 27 lawyers providing services to clients throughout Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada. Our firm has a large and varied client base.
