Nathan Swanson

Nathan Swanson received his B.A. from Colorado College in 2004, an M.A. with merit from King's College London in 2006, and his law degree from University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2009.While in law school, he served as a student attorney with the Civil Rights Clinic representing people incarcerated in the Supermax prison in Colorado. The Civil Rights Clinic emphasizes analytical and writing skills, fact development and case theory, and helps student lawyers become highly conscious of strategic decisions made during litigation. It instills in students a deep sense of responsibility for the capacity of the law and legal institutions to do justice. Nathan Swanson's experience working with the Civil Rights Clinic helped him become a compassionate and rigorous attorney who is committed to serving his clients effectively and responsibly.
