As outside corporate and on-call general counsel to start-up firms and small to mid-sized companies both private and publicly-traded, Independent Law provides counsel for its clients' full range of business activities. We design our client's corporate structures and advise on legal aspects of business as appropriate to our clients' individual needs. For our entrepreneurs and start-ups, we often function as sole corporate legal counsel in an on-call role, providing critical advice on day-to-day issues and operations, as well as transactional representation. In other cases, we coordinate and supervise teams of outside counsel, teaming up to address highly specific areas of the law, often organizing major transactions or resolving conflict in and outside of litigation. Regardless of the scope or context of our representation, though, our goal is always to assist our client in achieving its business objectives in the most advantageous and efficient manner possible.
