At the age of 12 Briana knew she wanted to be an attorney after watching Claire Huxtable from the Cosby Show. As time went on, Briana determined that she would become an attorney that made a difference in people's lives. Since then, Briana has worked hard to make that dream a reality. In 2012, Briana graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University with dual Bachelor Degrees in Justice Studies and African American Studies. She then went on to graduate from Howard University School of Law in 2015 with her Juris Doctor degree.​While pursuing her law degree, Briana worked for the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Section as well as the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Briana also served as a Student Attorney in the Howard University School of Law's Fair Housing Clinic, where she represented multiple clients in Housing Court.
