About Rosenberg Martin Greenberg, LLP

Countering the trend among law firms to greater bureaucracy and narrower focus, in 1987 Benjamin Rosenberg, Robert J. Proutt, H. Eugene Funk, Jr. and Barry C. Greenberg left the security of two of Baltimore's largest and most prestigious law firms to establish Rosenberg Proutt Funk & Greenberg, a new firm that would offer a full range of high-quality legal services in a more personalized setting.

Over the next thirty-three years, the firm has faithfully adhered to its mission, expanding only in response to its clients' needs and only when it found an opportunity that would enhance the array of services that it could offer. The firm undertook a significant expansion in 2003 with the addition of Gerard P. Martin and three of his colleagues from Martin, Snyder & Bernstein, P.A., which resulted in a new name, Rosenberg Martin Greenberg, LLP. In 2009, a new group of attorneys joined the firm, bringing with them an extensive bankruptcy and creditors' rights practice. At the same time, the firm expanded by adding a Delaware office. In 2013, the firm added an Annapolis office to better serve its clients in Anne Arundel County.

RMG lawyers have participated in some of the most important cases and transactions that have taken place in central Maryland in the last thirty-two years, earning the firm a reputation for providing the highest quality legal services with unparalleled efficiency.
