Jeffery R. Jones is the sole shareholder of Jeffery R. Jones, P.C. in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Jeffery R. Jones has over 40 years of experience as a practicing attorney. He has extensive experience at providing services related to all aspects of Condominium, Commercial Real Estate transactions, virtually all other aspects of Real Estate Law, Corporate & Contract Law, and General Business Law. He also has Michigan trial work experience in those described areas.

At the Law Firm of Jeffery R. Jones, P.C., our experience in Condominium Law, Commercial Real Estate Law, Real Estate Law, and Business Law includes: representing sellers and purchasers in residential transactions; representing builders, developers, landlords and tenants in commercial and residential real estate matters; assisting in real estate loan negotiations and closings for matters in the tens of thousands to the multi-million dollar range; drafting documentation for over 65 sets of condominium projects; representing homeowner's associations and condominium association; and business & corporate law issues. He also has been involved in detailed and extensive trial work for real estate and business/corporate law matters. He has drafted numerous real estate and business documents from the perceived benign "standard" documents to the exactingly specific documents.

Jeffery R. Jones was General Counsel to Avis Enterprises, (the privately held companies then wholly owned by Warren Avis, founder of Avis Rent-A Car) engaging in all manner of real estate development, business/contract law, and entrepreneurial activity including 17 condominium conversions in 12 states.

He was also the Chairman of the State Bar of Michigan's Real Property Law Section's Committee on Condominiums, Cooperatives, and Planned Unit Developments. Jeff has authored or co-authored six articles published in the Michigan Real Property Review and individually given and/participated in giving over a dozen seminars on the subject to various groups including continuing legal education, real estate brokers, collective association or practice groups and other informational seminars.

Since his admission to practice in 1976, he has written over sixty five (65) sets of condominium documents which includes detailed legal development work for a resort community in northern Michigan comprising three 18 hole golf courses, six condominium projects (in excess of 450 units) and over 600 hotel rooms; Detroit's Chrysler Lynch Road Assembly Plant (the commercial condominium conversion) and appropriate documents for other commercial developments and additional condominium work. He has represented over seventy five condominium and/or homeowner's associations.

He has maintained an "AV" rating by Martindale Hubbell for over fifteen years and has been included in listings of Detroit Business "Top Lawyers". He was selected for The American Lawyer/National Law Journal, as a "2013 Top Rated Lawyer in Real Estate Law". He is a Member of the State Bar of Michigan, The Virginia State Bar, and the District of Columbia Bar.

He received his B.A. (with honor) from Michigan State University and his law degree from The American University, Washington, D.C. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Virginia State Bar, and the District of Columbia Bar.
