Russ August & Kabat was founded in 1990 by Larry Russ, Rick August and Jules Kabat. By combining their litigation, corporate and finance, real estate and intellectual property expertise, they established a law firm that focuses on the creative analysis of complex legal problems to achieve outstanding results.
In 2003, Marc Fenster joined the firm, and launched the patent litigation group, now over 20 lawyers strong. The firm is proud of its lawyers and the personal attention we are able to give to each of our clients. Over the years, the firm has maintained its focus while expanding its practice areas. In the process, we have established ourselves as one of the top midsize law firms in Los Angeles.
In 2014 and 2015, Russ August & Kabat was named to the Top Law Firms list by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
