Founded in 1996, Michael Sullivan & Associates (MS&A) began as a small law firm located in a single office above the Santa Monica Playhouse. Eight years later, the firm had grown significantly and relocated its corporate office to Los Angeles, opening satellite offices in Orange County and the Central Valley. Now with nine law offices throughout California, MS&A has hundreds of clients and a talented group of partners and associates. The firm's areas of practice have grown to include civil, employment, and immigration law sections, in addition to its original workers' compensation practice. This has enabled MS&A to become a full-service law firm for California employers and carriers.MS&A was further solidified as a leader in the workers' compensation practice in 2011 when it published its first edition of Sullivan on Comp, a multi-volume treatise on California workers' compensation law. The treatise is updated annually and has become the standard research text on the subject.MS&A has established a reputation for success based on three core principles.
