I have practiced family law and mediation for many years and am honored to have been named Cincinnati Best Family Relations Lawyer and Cincinnati Best Family Mediator by Best Lawyers in the United States, a peer-selection distinction given to only one lawyer in each practice area in each city. Additionally, I have received the highest peer review rating (AV) by Martindale Hubbell. I am a past president of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP).
I have now chosen to concentrate my practice solely on mediation. This focus blends my experience and deep interest in conflict resolution and negotiation. I have developed a highly successful mediation process that effectively assists couples and families with family-related conflicts.
In addition to my mediation practice, I have provided workshops on Collaborative Practice, effective communication and negotiation and am the lead trainer and designer of the Beyond Civility Communication Workshops, a program focused on strategies for successfully conducting difficult conversations for selected bi-partisan political, business and media leaders.
