The firm was founded in 1979 by Brian Burns, David Whitehead and Steve Porter as Burns & Whitehead, changing its name to Whitehead & Porter in 1985 when Brian Burns retired. The firm handles complex civil disputes in mediation, arbitration and litigation. We have a transactional business practice, including all phases of corporation, partnership and limited liability company formation and operation. Our practice includes both disputes and transactions in real property, construction and employment matters. We also provide estate planning and trust administration services.
