About Madsen, Prestley & Parenteau, LLC
The firm's beginnings trace back to contemporaneous decisions in the mid-90s by Will Madsen and Peter Prestley to leave major firms representing principally corporate interests and to strike out to establish practices solely representing individuals in employment and benefit matters. They joined their practices in 1998, and in the year 2000 were joined by Jacques Parenteau, who was also leaving the large firm context, to form Madsen, Prestley & Parenteau LLC.
The abiding aim in establishing the firm was to provide a competitive edge to individuals in need of sophisticated legal representation in the field of employment and benefits law. In the early years, the template was to bring in top people, to work very hard in a friendly and informal setting, and to leverage technology and the best available legal resources. That emphasis has evolved to create an exciting and highly result oriented firm culture where we seek to be smart, adaptable and tireless in pursuit of our clients' objectives.
