We believe in making this community stronger. After all, our roots here run very deep. Many of us were born and raised in Maine, and all of us live in Augusta or communities nearby. Over the past five years, our firm has donated more than $45,000 to the community and its local charities. We invest in a variety of nonprofit organizations but focus primarily on those that support the success of this region's greatest resource - its people. As individuals, we are very involved in community support and youth programs throughout central Maine. Many of us maintain or have maintained leadership positions in organizations that contribute to the vitality of our local area and the well-being of our fellow residents.

The lawyers at Lipman & Katz are also committed to serving society and we well respect and understand the need for public service. Currently, Roger Katz is a state senator and has been for two terms. Sumner Lipman served two terms in the State Legislature and then ran as a candidate for the Republican nomination for governor.
