Our History
John Evans and John Dixon founded the firm in 1945 with a commitment to delivering the highest levels of service, value and legal counsel. For 75 years, we have remained dedicated to these goals. We are proud of our distinguished history, but we are not bound by it. To better serve our clients, we keep a clear eye on emerging legal and business trends, take advantage of new technologies, tools and methodologies, and continuously develop our service offerings to help clients stay ahead of economic, regulatory and legislative developments.

Evans & Dixon made its name on the strength of our workers compensation and civil litigation defense. In 2008, we expanded to include subrogation and collections teams. With the addition of our business law practice group in 2010, which includes some of the nation's most experienced lawyers, we provide end-to-end services in business transactions, labor and employment law, business and commercial litigation, environmental law, small business development and entrepreneurship, real estate, employee benefits, and intellectual property. We have also expanded our large-loss subrogation practice and creditor's rights practices. In 2015, the firm added a healthcare practice group to address one of the largest sectors of our economy. Covering a broad range of industries, the healthcare practice group solidified Evans & Dixon as a full-service firm.
