Our firm was founded in 1984 as Chatigny & Palmer by Robert N. Chatigny and Richard N. Palmer. In 1991, James T. Cowdery joined the firm, having previously served as Chief of the Criminal Division in the United States Attorney's Office. Steven D. Ecker was a partner from February 1994 until April 2014, when Governor Malloy appointed him to the Connecticut Superior Court. Thomas J. Murphy joined us in 1997, having previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Connecticut. From April 2003 to December 2010, George C. Jepsen was Of Counsel to the firm until his election as Connecticut's Attorney General.

Over the past two decades, our firm and its predecessors have represented individuals and business entities in a broad range of civil, regulatory and criminal investigations, litigations, and trials in both state and federal settings.
