Budd, a negligent misrepresentation case, is in the Texas Lawyer's Verdict Hall of Fame. The Firm's guardianship law practice, for both contested and uncontested matters, has become a more prominent focus as well.
Our attorneys are involved in the probate community. Their awareness of the ins and outs of Probate Law makes them uniquely qualified to handle your case. Will, spent over two decades in the Texas House of Representatives working, among other things, to shape probate law into what it is today. More locally, many of our attorneys have served as chairs of the Dallas Bar Association's Probate Section.
A feature of our Firm that sets us apart from other probate litigation firms is our willingness to take cases on a contingency fee basis, where our fee is based on the outcome of your case. Not every case is suitable for a contingency fee. The facts of your unique situation will determine whether we use a contingency or hourly fee, but we will consider both and help you evaluate which is the most suitable for you.
Our firm believes in giving back to their community. Several members of the firm contribute pro bono hours to the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program. Through DVAP, we take on probate and guardianship cases, act as advisors on probate cases, and serve as mentors to others taking on probate cases. Other represent local charitable organizations for no charge.
