A lifelong Westie, Jerome was a member of the first graduating class at Notre Dame High School. He later graduated from Providence College and Georgetown Law School. During his 66 years as a practicing attorney, Jerome was a prosecutor for the State of Connecticut for eight years and tirelessly served the City of West Haven as the attorney for Water Pollution Control and as a member of the Sewer Commission. An active member of the ACLU, Jerome was also the Chairman of the Board of Ethics for the City of West Haven.

Attorney Lacobelle, Jr. is engaged in the practice of personal injury/ civil litigation as well as workers' compensation law. He has extensive real estate closing experience in both residential and commercial transactions. He is also very active in the areas of wills, trusts and probate law. He has served as Deputy Corporation Counsel for the City of West Haven and has experience in municipal law and litigation including real estate tax appeals.
