About John Foy & Associates

John M. Foy, our firm founder, trademarked the term "Strong Arm" attorney. "I love the idea of having a real person as a client, I know I'm fighting for a real individual or family." Foy has been an attorney since 1993, founding his own firm in 1999 in a one-room office. Slowly, that firm grew by word of mouth. Good word tends to travel fast, and as one satisfied client told another our firm grew. Today we employ over 40 attorney teams and over 130 employees and support staff, all dedicated to serving the people of Georgia. We only represent people who have been injured by others negligence.
Customer service

AboutUs1_web_crop_size "What separates us is customer service," Foy says. We keep caseloads deliberately small so that our attorneys and paralegals can give each client the personal care he or she deserves. "When you do something good it really resonates, it really changes people's lives." If you call our firm, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, someone will answer the phone. You've already been through a traumatic accident or loss, so we make it easy for you. We will come to your home or business day or night to see if we can help you. We have even sent people out on Christmas Day. The biggest complaint nationally about attorneys is that they don't return phone calls, they don't communicate with their clients. We seek out attorneys who can bond and connect with our clients. We only hire attorneys who are willing and wanting to genuinely help people.
Why do you need a personal injury attorney?

You may only need a personal injury attorney once in your life, but whom you choose may determine your quality of life for years to come. John M. Foy and Associates only practices personal injury law. We devote 100% of our practice to representing victims who have been injured by others negligence. We keep abreast of the legal complexities and changes. We do not take cases to represent insurance companies or institutions. We only serve people and we have built our practice helping one person, one family at a time. We earn your confidence so that we can travel this path together.
Know your rights as a client

Most people don't know that attorneys are not allowed to solicit clients. No one should call you or send a letter offering their services. It is illegal and unethical. Unfortunately, victims of negligence or accidents are often vulnerable to be taken advantage of. We are an ethical firm and plan on being Georgia's "Strong Arm" for years to come. Our reputation is our livelihood. We protect our reputation by getting our clients what they deserve and treating them with respect along the way.
What can you expect?

AboutUs2_web_crop_size Your first action is to call us, we will take it from there. We will come to you to get the full details of your case. The consultation is free, no matter what. Should you decide that we are the law firm for you, you still pay nothing; our payment is a percentage of the settlement. We take the risk. If after a while we decide there is no case or, in that rare case, there is zero recovery, our firm will absorb the costs. Each attorney at our firm has helped many injured victims in car wreck cases, nursing home abuse, hourly wage compensation, workers compensation, social security disability, prescription drug recalls and many other related fields. We will find out: Is your injury permanent? Were you on the job when it happened? Do you need a vehicle? Do you need long-term medical care? There are all kinds of losses: medical expense, vehicle damage, physical damage, employment loss, and pain and suffering. We will assess what you need right now. If you, like many people, do not have health insurance, we can suggest doctors and medical facilities that are willing to wait for the insurance settlement to be paid.
Dedicated to being Georgia's "Strong Arm"

AboutUs3_web_crop_size Our firm founder, John M. Foy, sets the tone for our law firm. "I'm physically in my office," says Foy. "I'm here working every day and I'm here in Atlanta, I'm here in Georgia, and that separates me a lot from my competitors." The Milwaukee native graduated from Marquette University High School, received a B.A. in political science from The University of Dayton, in Dayton, Ohio, and his law degree from the Ohio Northern University School of Law, in Ada, Ohio. He was admitted to practice law in 1993 for the State of Georgia. He was also admitted to the U.S. District Court Northern District of Georgia in that same year. Mr. Foy has devoted his entire career to the area of personal injury and insurance law. He has conducted numerous jury trials throughout Georgia. He has focused on wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases, as well as cases involving punitive damages. He has handled a substantial number of premises liability cases as well. He has also been very involved with mass tort litigation.
