Soon after starting a solo practice in 1995, Paul Maginot attracted a group of highly qualified intellectual property attorneys. Joined by Hal Moore in 1997, Paul moved the practice to a new home in downtown Indianapolis?s Chase Tower. The firm continued to thrive as a result of their drive and dedication and, with the addition of Michael Beck as a named partner, was renamed Maginot, Moore & Beck LLP in 2004. Soon after, MMB outgrew its Chase Tower offices, and moved to its current location in Regions Tower, right in the heart of downtown next to the Federal Courthouse.

Under solid leadership, MMB has had multiple attorneys repeatedly listed as ?Best Lawyers? for their practice in intellectual property law. MMB is ranked as a ?Tier 1? firm for patent law, trademark law, and copyright law in the Indianapolis Metro area by U.S. News and World Report, and in 2018 Paul Maginot was voted the ?Lawyer of the Year? for patent law by attorneys in the Indianapolis Metro area.
