Recent verdicts and settlements include a $8.9 million arbitration award for two physicians in Bauer & Romney v. CHI Franciscan (2020), a $2.5 million recovery for a physician in Anel v. CHI Franciscan (2015), a $1.86 million recovery for able bodies seaman in Miranda v. Alaska Longline (2017), the largest EEOC settlement per employee in a sexual harassment case in the Western United States according to the EEOC (1.72 million), and a unanimous jury verdict resulting in a recovery of over $3.9 million for race discrimination.
