A lot of times when you work with others it's just a series of emails back and forth but, at least with the recruiter I worked with at BCG, we had a number of telephone calls as well. I think that was probably the best part, because things can get lost in emails that are not in telephone conversations. Working with BCG helped me because I knew there was someone who was already working to find the list of places that have openings that I might be suited for. So instead of me going through and searching through a lot of different databases online and trying to match myself up, I have someone who is doing that; and a business who gets the information through which it can be filtered.When I think of BCG I think of empathy, and a recruiting firm that is working for you. I thought the process was really easy. I was connected to someone who was in my current region, but because I was looking outside of my region, they assigned my legal placement professional from the west coast, and I had an east coast and south area recruiter and I really liked that they worked together and kept each other up to date. I felt like they were more on top of it than I was a lot of the time and she was awesome. She was really responsive, she was able to do a lot via text which made it really easy to communicate with her during the day. Email is great, but the firm I worked for doesn't let us have our personal email when we are in the office. She was really nice and I got my dream job and I really appreciate all of her hard work.
