Greenville office of our client seeks associate attorney with 1-4 years of real estate experience. The candidate will review title work, close real estate transactions, and communicate with clients, lenders, brokers and title companies. Will review closing documents for accuracy and legal sufficiency. Review title abstracts, trusts and probate documents. Represent lenders, buyers and sellers in real estate closings. Interact with clients as counsellor and advisor. Participate in team and company meetings. Must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of South Carolina. Should hold either a current appointment as a South Carolina Notary Public or the ability to obtain such qualification prior to starting work.
The candidate must be comfortable interacting with clients tactfully in high-pressure customer service situations. Should be detail oriented, organized and possess superior interpersonal skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with extended hours when required (especially at end of month). Nights and weekends work will be required.
