Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks real estate senior associate/counsel (land use) with 7 years of experience in land use law, development permitting (at federal, state, and local levels for a broad range of asset types), and entitlement work, as well as general real estate. The candidate must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar. Must have interest and aptitude in building a career with a focus on development permitting. Interest in providing land use expertise to support acquisition transactions by Firm clients is required. Interest in working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary real estate practice groups is needed. LL.M. from an ABA-accredited law school is essential.
The candidate should have strong academic credentials, excellent critical reasoning skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts. Must be graduated with a J.D. degree. Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills, as this position requires an immediate partner and client contact. Possess a high level of professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients and sophisticated investors. Able to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities, be highly organized and exercise extreme attention to detail is required. Able to collaborate and work effectively in team settings is needed.
