A dynamic personal injury and workers' compensation law firm in Chicago, IL is seeking a motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join its litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney with 1–5 years of experience who is passionate about advocating for injury victims. The position involves direct client interaction, court representation, and managing a caseload of litigated personal injury matters. Recent law school graduates with bar admission are encouraged to apply.

Location:

  • Chicago, IL

Duties:

  • Manage and litigate personal injury cases from inception through resolution

  • Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal briefs and motions

  • Prepare for and represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and hearings

  • Draft legal documents including complaints, discovery, settlement agreements, and trial documents

  • Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and litigation strategies

  • Stay up to date on relevant laws and legal precedents impacting client matters

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and development

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar

  • 1–5 years of experience handling personal injury litigation preferred

  • Willingness to meet with clients and provide compassionate representation

  • Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload

  • Commitment to ethical legal practice

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Illinois
