Mid-Level Corporate Transactions Associate Attorney

Washington, D.C. office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a mid-level corporate transactions associate attorney with 5-7 years of experience. The candidate will join its nationally recognized Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance practice focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions transactions. Should preferably have experience in the following areas: Sophisticated law firm experience on complex corporate or Mergers and Acquisitions matters; Managing complex Mergers and Acquisitions projects and timelines, interacting with subject matter experts and junior resources; preparing equity and asset purchase agreements and ancillary documentation, and conducting and summarizing legal, due diligence in Mergers and Acquisitions transactions with an emphasis on private equity transactions and private target Mergers and Acquisitions.

The candidate should have significant attention to detail and the ability to interact successfully with clients, investment bankers, commercial lenders, and other advisors. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills, and the ability to manage client engagements. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility needed.
