Waldorf office of our client seeks an associate attorney with relevant legal experience. Trial experience is a plus. The candidate will be managing their own workers' compensation and personal injury caseload. Representing clients in District, Circuit courts, and in front of the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission. Negotiating claims for injured workers and motor vehicle collision victims. Assisting in discovery at every level and each type of case. Signing up clients through in-person, virtual or telephonic interviews. Drafting pleadings, writing legal memo's on personal injury cases and workers' compensation claims on appeal. Working in a team environment to grow our roots in the community by assisting with outreach events when necessary. Performing other tasks as assigned. Must either be pending bar passage for Maryland bar or have an active Maryland bar license.
The candidate must be a hard worker, self-starter, customer service oriented, empathetic, and highly organized.
