Duties

  • Handle fiduciary litigation involving estates and trusts

  • Manage estate administration cases from start to finish

  • Develop and implement litigation strategies independently

  • Navigate complex legal matters and offer creative legal solutions

  • Provide empathetic yet professional communication with clients dealing with emotionally sensitive situations

  • Collaborate with a positive, team-oriented group of legal professionals

  • Participate in a structured growth and development program for litigation attorneys

  • Work a flexible schedule with reasonable billable hour requirements (1,550 annual hours)

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia

  • Minimum of 5 years of legal practice; 10+ years preferred

  • At least 5 years of civil litigation experience required

  • Ability to manage litigation matters independently

  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills

  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to maintain professional detachment in emotionally charged cases

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
