Patent Attorney

New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a patent attorney with 7-10 years of experience in IP and patent prosecution work. The candidate will have extensive interaction with in-house attorneys, investors, and firm attorneys. Should have experience across all areas of patent office litigation, including inter partes review, post-grant review, covered business methods, and ex parte reexamination. Should have a portable book of business for the firm. Experience working across areas such as mechanical, electrical, and food technology preferred. License to practice law in Washington, Oregon, New York States or Washington, D.C. (or the ability to waive into practice in one of the areas) essential.

The candidate should have excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Must have a client-oriented approach to practice. Should have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including with legal support staff.
