Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

Peachtree Corners office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a bankruptcy associate attorney with 3 years of bankruptcy experience representing creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters. The candidate will prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, and objections to Chapter 13 plans. Respond to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal & otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings, etc. Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors and debtors' attorneys. Chapter 11 experience and adversary matters experience are a plus. Must have experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research. Must be admitted to practice and in good standing in Georgia and all federal bankruptcy courts. Admitted to practice in other states is a plus.

The candidate must be able to proficiently handle appearances and all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision. Must have excellent leadership skills. Must have excellent communication and organization abilities. Must have strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload.
