Portland office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an energy transactional associate attorney preferably with 2-3 years of experience with M&A, project development, project construction, or project finance either generally or specifically relating to the electric power industry. The candidate will work with a focus on transactional work related to the generation, transmission, and sale of electric power. A candidate with other energy industry backgrounds, including state or federal energy regulatory experience, will also be considered. Must be licensed and in good standing in the state of practice.

The candidate must have superior academic credentials and strong oral and written communication skills.

This nationally renowned firms Portland office represents domestic and international clients in a variety of legal matters with a special focus on independent power producers and utility companies. These matters include conventional power projects, state and federal energy regulations, sale and finance of renewable energy, utility mergers and acquisitions, reliability compliance, renewable source integration, and utility partnership tax.
